Busy life..

Life has been so crazy these past few months. I have been so busy remodeling our little red brick house. Let me just say that it is ten times worse then building because you have to actually live there and try keeping 2 kids under the age of 3 out of disaster, it is so hard. We aren't even doing anything really huge it's just so hard trying to find time and the kids wanting to do what you do. Plus it probably doesn’t help that I am doing everything myself, I want to, I guess I want to feel like I am accomplishing something but it is very difficult. I have been scraping 5 layers of horrid wallpaper of the walls this past month.. NIGHTMARE! I don't understand why they kept laying wallpaper after wallpaper over each other. I feel like it will never get done. I'm not very good at being patient so I guess this is testing me :)

Jaden started dance a few weeks ago and I just LOVE watching her, she is so cute in her dance attire. Jade is a little shy, I'm not sure where she gets that from, definitely very different from me lol. I can already see that it is giving her more confidence. She is my little sweetheart, she truly is the sweetest little girl, and I’m convinced.

Kody has been so busy at work lately, I only see him at nights, half day on Saturdays and on Sundays. I love being with him, I can’t wait till he gets home every night. He is so helpful with the kids.

Kash is so BUSY!!! He has started walking the past month and oh BOY, he is into everything! I'm so glad that I don't have my bigger house to try to chase him everywhere. We have doors to our stairs so I am so glad for that! I don't know if it's a boy thing or just his personality but he is into everything, so independent, and rough!

Kody has been called to the Young Men’s Presidency, he loves it. I think that Kody is really good with the youth, so it totally fits him. I know he will do a great job; he always does whatever he gets called to do. He is so committed to his callings.

Jaden is going to be starting pre-school in a couple weeks. I don't know how I feel about it. I want her to go so she can interact with other kids and learn, but I don't want my baby to leave me just yet... I love her so much, she is my little sweetheart. I LOVE being around her!

Our family is sooo excited to go to Disneyland in October, my mom and Kody’s step-mom are coming along to help out. Jade talks about it non-stop. She’s so excited and I think I am probably more excited then her :) We are also going to Disney world exactly one month later, we are going with Kody's mom, step-dad, Kodys brother, his wife and their new baby boy. We are super excited for that too. Kody and I were going to go on a Disney cruise to the Bahamas for Christmas but I think we decided that we will probably be burned out on trips and Disney. :)

Well things are great and busy at the Olson home, I hope all is well with all of you. PS.. Just a side note, I like blogging 100 times more then fb. Blogging just seems more personable, but it seems like I am always on fb instead of updating my blog. I'm going to try and be better at it!

Sad day for me :( I really had a hard time. I really did not want to leave our neighborhood, ward, and house. I just LOVE where we live. It will be good though, we are living in my parents rental and that has been a HUGE adjustment for us all. Jaden wants to know where the theater room is lol.. Spoiled :) We are helping my parents fix it up, due to the renters that trashed it before us. It is definitely humbling us ;) Anyway it will be great living close to my parents for awhile and save, save, save for our dream house. It has been such a crazy couple of weeks for the Olson's.

I really thought that Kash would love destroying his cake, but surprisingly he didn't. He was too tired and was past his bedtime so he wasn't into it at all. It made me sad, but hey, I guess I didn't have to clean up the mess :)

It has been awhile since I have posted and I guess it's just because nothing has really changed in our lives or I guess nothing too exciting anyway. We've just been living our lives as normal, which I guess is always a blessing. Our house is up for sale and we have had allot of traffic but are hoping that we will sell it this spring. We have been working on our new house plans and are so excited to build again and do something totally different and a little bigger. We are thinking a Tuscan/Castle look. Right now our house is more rustic, we love our house but love change too. Anyway we are looking forward to that in the next year, but we will see with this housing market :) We love our ward so we will be building in the same neighborhood.

Our kids are doing great just growing and being super healthy. knock on wood.. but, they haven't been sick once this winter. Wahoo.. that has never happened! Their birthdays are coming up so we are looking forward to that! We love birthdays around here.

Kody and I are doing great, we are in primary still and teach the CTR6. It is fun and always entertaining what our little 6yr olds have to say. We have had this calling since the first week we moved into this ward, so we have been in the primary for a little over a year now. I'm kind of hoping for a change but am always happy to be serving the Lord in whatever he wants me to do.
Kody's business is thriving and doing great. He is staying busy, which is such a blessing in this economy. We thank our Heavenly Father for that! I am staying very busy at running my in-laws company. It is such a wonderful job for me, I love what I do and it gets me out of the house and I still get to be with my wonderful children!

I've finally been able to post some pictures of our theater room. It's been a crazy last 3 weeks. We have had company over, my sweet grandma's funeral and party's. Thank you Kody for my Christmas present! I love it so much, we are already having so much fun with our family in it. We have been watching movies in it almost every night, Jaden will say "lets go watch a movie in the theater room". She loves it and thinks it's the coolest thing in the world. Oh.. and Kody loves it too, I got him an x-box with kinect and a bunch of games but his favorite is Halo and he loves to play that on it :)

Since it's that time of season, I'm laying in bed last night at 12pm thinking of all the things that i am so thankful for. The obvious ones are, our family's, our sweet children, our love ones, the gospel, our health, our homes, etc... Then I started thinking more in depth.. "THINGS THAT I COULDN'T LIVE WITHOUT" aside from all the really important things, things that spoil us...
1- Running water
2- Disposable diapers/wipes
3- My bed
4- Clorox wipes
5- Running Vehicles
6- Washer/ Dryer
7- Dishwasher
8- Heat
9- Pest Control
10- Hand Sanitizer
11- Toothbrush/ toothpaste
12- Medicine

These might sound silly, but I am very thankful for all of these little things in life that makes life so easy. I am also so grateful for my Heavenly Father for blessing me with such nice things in my life. I could have never been a pioneer! :)

Yea, I finally have grass. When I came home from Ohio, Kody said he had a surprise for me and when I got home I saw that we had grass. He worked so hard all week to get this done for me so I would have a surprise. Thank you babe for all ur hard work in our yard. Now just the flowers, trees, bark, and ground coverings. :)

So Kash got his 4 month shots yesterday. I took this picture after he got his shots, I hate those dang things. I know, can you believe he is already 4 months old :( sad!!! I’ve started potty training Jaden again this week, so far so good. Jaden was potty trained at 16 months old. She just woke up one morning and wanted to go on the toilet and didn’t have one accident in a week, but stupid mom thought that she didn’t need to do anything else and remind her to go and Jaden lost it and at that point she was not into it anymore. Dangit, ugh... I hate myself for that. Anyway were trying it again. Hopefully it will still go well, but allot of moms say to not even bother with it till their 3??? Any ideas on potty training mommy’s?

Obsessed with finding one of a kind/trendy clothes for Kash, I don’t know why but something about the find for boy clothes since there’s not allot of variety.
Online shopping.
Cleaning, cleaning, cleaning, did I mentioned Cleaning??? I have to have my house spotless and organized and that means cleaning 24-7.
Hanging out with the family and cousins.
Parties at my house- almost every week.

Next week I start Boot camp. It is my favorite and hardest workout program that I have ever found, it's an intense personal training program focusing on a mixture of cardio and weight training, designed to help you achieve your goals by utilizing a variety of activities. I am so excited to start it again. I need to get my body toned up again after the baby ;)

Our baby Kash was born. I'm just going to do a fast update, because I don't have much time right now. I will do a longer post next time. I went into a normal check up with my Dr. and informed me that I was in labor. WOW, what a shock! Anyway he was a month early, and has been in the NICU for almost a week. He is home now and doing great. I just have pictures on my phone so they're not very good, but just wanted to show my little guy off. I love him so much!!! It is very fun to have a little boy :)

Life has been so crazy this past month. We went to Jackson over Jaden's Birthday, threw her a little party at the snow climbs. Then we threw her a big party at our house (Note: me being 7 1/2 months preggy and feeling very uncomfortable). Had family birthday party's, my sisters baby blessing, a baby shower, Easter, and waiting for our little boy to come! :) Wow, allot going on lately, but it has all been so much fun! I am getting so excited to be having another baby on the way. I miss that newborn stage-maybe i'll retract that statement when he comes and wakes us up in the middle of the night. jk but I cant wait till he comes! Just a few more weeks and we'll have our baby Kash.

I can finally say that the end is in sight. OUR house will be finished this week. YAY!!!!! Since we have been the builders it has taken us awhile to build due to the fact that our house comes last. That's ok, because I am very blessed to have a home like this. I know this is not the best picture but I will be posting new pics of the house when it is completely finished. SO excited about moving into our home but not excited on the actual moving part. Anyway, will be posting new pics soon :)
